ibizablanca He estado de visita a algunos lugares por mi querida isla blanca,tapando a varios graffitis las denuncias contra unas personas estan hechas y solo esperemos bajar a los juzgados para seguir con eso.Hay unos graffitis que no he tapado porque los autores me han amenazado de muerte,pero hombre son artistas,no?Tambien hay zonas donde aparecen pintadas nuevas y no creo que son legales a ver que hacemos co estas pintadas legales?

Hola amigos y enemigos,pues estoy seguro que habeis enterado que he estado por mi querida isla limpiando a los mamarochos de los vandalos,pero veo que he tapado algunas pintadas legales,la mayoria no valian pa nada,ademas cuando el ayuntamiento da un sitio legitimo donde pueden pintar pues que piensan la gente de Ibiza,porque no solo pintan en paredes legales,si no por todo vuestra isla.En mi opinion el ayuntamiento de Ibiza no valen para nada,cuantos graffiti ha tapado los del ayuntamiento?seria muy interesante saberlo.Solo el 50% de las turistas volveria a Eivissa.Que hara el ayuntamiento para mejorar la imagen tercer mundista de ciertas partes de Ibiza?,seguro que sera lo mismo de siempre,bla bla bla,ya sabemos como son,si no sacan algo de ganancias sus amigos y enchufados no cambia nada.Hasta luego ,from Mr Dragon.

I was in Alicante on Saturday,quite a pleasant town,a large marina opposite the harbour front with many bars and restaurants.I also visited the large old fortress on the hill which is locked up every evening,not to keep out invading armies but to keep out the vandals of today,,they have already painted silver figures on some of the ancient walls ,no respect for cultural heritage,and they think it's art,are these people morons or what? The rest of the historical centre is covered in crappy tags and larger pieces,is this the image of neglect that the town of Alicante wants to project to the world,or are they finding it hard to fight back against these vandals.People often say

Have you ever been annoyed when arriving at your holiday destination that things are not as they were described in the holiday brochure,let's take Ibiza as an example:Quiet beaches,Winter only,beaches in the summer are overcrowded,noisy,dirty especially when the wind is blowing towards the shoreline,plus all the oter assorted flotsam you would rather not see.Are you enjoying your walk down the Vara Del Rey,dodging the dog poop or admiring the flower borders with there covering of Ibicenco Dog fertilizer,did you ever wonder why the Geraniums had a strange aroma?Ibizas tranquil atmosphere,as the trucks and cars thunder past on the glorious motorways,leading to nowhere in particular,perhaps they head in the direction of Amnesia and Privelage,discos with live sex shows,why don't they just tell it like it is,a load of degenerates out of there heads on coke and ecstasy with a paying public.May be you have a hire car so you can escape to the far flung beaches,off you go on the relaxing drive to Salinas,park up then walk the next 3 kls to the beach in the 35 c heat,find the beach is full,bars are full...well after your relaxing trip to the beach it's time to head off for the evening meal,being British at least you will miss the nightly crowds of loud obnoxious Italians and Spaniards,has no one told them not to eat with their mouths open,and they like to think their civilized.Don' t waste your time looking for any non smoking establishments,as with many Spanish laws they only work in theory,one of the ways to put your point across is to ask the proprietor if they have a no smoking area,if they don't tell them how much money you were planning to spend that night,times it by 14 days and let them know that is how much money you will be spending else- where,they will soon get the message,as many are only interested in money,not quality.There are many beautiful areas in Ibiza,so get off the beaten track,why not try heading from Sta Eulalia to San Carlos,go along the road to Escana,where the road curves at the end of the straight part of the road turn left,there is an old Ibicenco house on the left just as you are entering the road,ideal for photos,continue along the road but take it easy,look at the trees see how many varieties you can identify,continue down the road to the roundabout,turn right then San Carlos is about 2 or 3 kls,try to park before the village and enjoy your stroll up to the village,look out for the old Olive trees and there are a couple of Caki trees,,in season in sept,then have a drink or meal in one of the many bars or terraces,enjoy the less commercialized areas of Ibiza.

Have you ever been somewhere that was a little different than you are used to?I was in Detroit a couple of years ago,had a garden to price for one of my many contacts,it was in April ,the temperature was about 26degrees,quite pleasant for that time of year,one doesn't expect to perspire at that time of year.Both of these photos were taken from Winsdor,in Canada,the only place where you get more for your Greenback,you had to take the bus from Detroit through the tunnel and it would drop you off on the other side,it's like a different world,so much cheaper than in 1984,loads of cheap drinks and food,plenty of good company,too,the hotel I stayed in was easy to get lost in,many elevators and levels,couldn't remember getting back from Canada,but they let me back in.If you were in Croydon on the 9th of January,there was a bomb scare,someone in front of us dropped twenty pounds,someone gave it back to him,to return the favour he warned whoever it was to avoid Croydon on the 9th of January after 5pm,spooky,as the guy who dropped the money was Muslim.

I Would Rather Be In Singapore

Wouldn't it be great to live somewhere that it's always about 30 degrees,little crime,no graffiti,very little litter and everything is cheaper than in Europe,the airfair may be more expensive but the people are very freindly,and even say hello when you walk by,and thats out of a city of aprox 4million people,so lets not go on holiday to the Med this year,it's cheaper in Singapore.The last time I was thereI stayed in a 6star hotel,60pounds a night,access to the cocktail lounge,discovered some cool places to go like Geylang,50dollars mista most of the bars were open 24 /7,the noodles were great and really spicy ,like the atmosphere,and the ladies.The place is so orderly,no peasants like you get in so many European cities ,vandals,no beggars everyone seemed pretty happy and unlike most of the resorts in the western med' you didn't feel like you were being ripped off.I will definately be going back soon,in business class as usual,it's worth when travelling longhaul,bye for now.

Ibiza 2006 will be remembered for many reasons ,not many of them positive,even the SEAT IBIZA didn't want to come for a holiday,as the Island has no adequate accommodation the poor car had to stay in Mallorca,in the 5star hotels of Palma.Would the Ibizan town councils like to congratulate themselves?Probably the wrong kind of tourist,too much money and too educated,any way,800 sales people and motor representatives who will perhaps go to Mallorca for their next holidays,not Ibiza,was the Scalectrix too much for the Seat Ibiza or were there not any adequate rooms?Next year we will have the Hotel Fenicia,the Auditorium,another new 5star hotel nearby ,will we still have Sta Eulalias famous 3star surroundings?probably,and it's 5 star prices?,definately,what have we learnt from this?,don't go hunting with Ibizan councillors as they will surely shoot you in the foot.

Good morning,afternoon,or evening,it all depends where you are in the world,but it's pc and we wouldn't like to upset anyone,maybe youre a couple, so is it any two?Pcness is one hell of a cowardly way of trying not to upset anybody,even when they would take no offence.I was born on St Georges day,I class myself as English,yet our national Sts day is brushed under the carpet,as it may be offensive to a minority group,would this be one of the minorities who hold their own celebrations,yet we find no offence in their celebrations,why should we,are we not a diverse nation?,a mixture of cultures from around the globe,all trying to live together?So let's try not to be PC this year,let's celebrate St Georges Day,raise the English flag,at schools and public buildings,and then hold a survey to see if we have upset anybody,but lets not brush our culture under the carpet,to satisfy the few small minded people,who are too weak to speak their minds,in case they upset someone.Are they upset when it's St Patricks day?No one seems to mind,a cultural knees up,and rather commercial,but nothing to do with English culture,perhaps an alternative celebration,so let's celebrate our own culture and not worry about what others think.

Hola,hay un graffitero vandalico de Madrid,quien se llama chema,letras pequenas,como su mentalidad,me ha amenazado con hacer pintadas en Ibiza,o en mi casa,vaya gente,hacen cosas vandalicos y se quejan cuando no les conviene tu punto de vista,un poco fascista,no?Vamos a ver cuando va a hacer algo honorable con su tiempo,como hago yo,tapando a los graffitis,donde sea.Hello,today a young graffiti vandal from Madrid called chema,small letters like his mentality,threatened to paint graffitis in Ibiza or on my house,nice people,they do'nt like your point of view,seems a little fascist,on his behalf?Why do'nt we see if they can do something positive with their lives,like I do,painting over graffitis,where-ever they are.

The fish is a commercial venture by a graffiti painter from Cataluna,to promote Tshirts and other goods,one day I shall visit his shop with my lawyers and police,remove all the goods,recover all the profits,made out of an illegal career,we then use any recovered money to pay for damages to private property,cost to the councils for cleaning up his vandalism.That's why the Fish was removed,as well as any work by Dr Hoffman,capitalistic vandals.

Interview Diario De Ibiza.

Today,the 8th of Dec' I had an interview whith a local paper in Ibiza,about mt efforts to remove graffiti around Ibiza,it will be interesting to see if there is any reaction from town councils,local business people,or any one who is like-minded.It will hopefully be published sometime next week,bye for now,as i'm off somewhere for a few days,more white crosses may appear.

Where Do The Graffitis Come From?

Hello,my name is Colin,I lived in Ibiza,from 75/85,now I just come for holidays,quite often.The amount of graffitis in Ibiza,comes as a bit of a surprise,on walls,electric substations,historical sights ,in the countryside,places where they shouldn't really be.I don't know if people have noticed,but they are starting to be eradicated,little by little,on the brick factory,by the Sta Gertrudis turning,the blue fish opposite the Plaza Del Parque," back drop,world heritage sight",the walls by the new roundabout in Sta Eulalia,they are all disappearing,poc a poc.Why do I remove them?,many people ask me this question.I remove the graffitis because most of the so called artists are not from Ibiza,but from Madrid,Barcelona etc ...They come on holidays and leave us there crap,to look at all year long.The islands Ayuntamientos don't seem to know how to deal with this problem,in front of the Bar Noelia,in Sta Eulalia there is a nice little park/sitting area,which is covered in graffiti,it,s been like that for 2 or 3 years,Sta Eulalias Council still ain,t cleaned it up,surely it,s not that complicated a thing to clean up?And will people who always complain about graffiti,buy a little paint and a brush and paint it over,job done,a positive action.Well i,m off now,more graffitis will disappear in december.

Hola,yo me llamo Colin,vivi en Ibiza durante los anos 75/85,ahora solo vengo de vacaciones de vez en cuando.Me a sorprendido la cantidad de graffitis que hay en Ibiza,en las paredes,casas electricos,sitios historicos y en el campo,donde no deben de estar.No se si os habeis dado cuenta que los graffitis van desapareciendo,poco apoco,en la fabrica de ladrillos,los del Pez detras de la plaza del parque,al lado de Burger king,en la rotonda nueva de Sta Eulalia,pues van desapareciendo, poco a poco.Porque las quito?me preguntan mucha gente,las quito porque las personas que lo pinten son casi todos de fuera,de Barcelona,Madrid,Alemana,Italia ETC....Vienen de vacaciones y nos dejen sus recuerdos,que no son nada bonitos, los ayuntamientos hacen muy poco,como siempre.En frente del bar Noelia en Sta Eulalia hay un parque del color gris,lleno de pintadas desde 2 o 3 anos y el ayuntamiento de Sta Eulalia no han hecho nada,a ver si son capaces de limpiar lo?Y a ver si mas gente que siempre quejan de los Graffitis,compren un poco de pintura y con una brocha y los tapan,algo positivo,no?Bueno me voy,mas Graffitis tapados en deciembre.

The reason you see white crosses painted over certain graffitis,is because I don't always have time to cover them all in one go,or have enough paint,but will cover them over on my next visit.
